Dave has been playing with the Campbell River Legion Pipe Band for many years, alot of which he held the title of Pipe Major. Dave's son Dave Jr. has since stepped into his father's shoes to fill this position. Dave Sr. now enjoys the handle Pipe Sgt. and continues to pass along his skills not only to his sons both Dave Jr. and Peter but other young members of the band.
