Dallas started learning to play the chanter in August of 2007.  He is now an active member of the Legion Pipe band, not only playing pipes but acting as Lead Drummer as well.   Dallas really enjoys the pipeband and is really looking forward to doing some travelling abroad for competitions.  He has had the pleasure of a week of schooling at Celtfest held at UVI in Nanaimo for two summers where he got to meet some incredible pipers and drummers from all over the world.  He is thankful the Pipe Band pays for his tuition to enjoy this and many other extra curricular activities. He is taught by Brian Shaw who has gone above and beyond with extra lessons to keep him learning more and more with the band
