Brooklyn is presently the youngest piper in the band. With the help of her teacher and mentor Brian Shaw, she has already managed to win herself a 1st place trophy for Novice at the BC Legion Games in Chilliwack in the summer of 2009 becoming the youngest competitor to ever win this event.  She was also the youngest piper to ever compete with the Campbell River Legion Pipe Band. Brooklyn also came home with 1st Place for her Jig/Hornpipe in the Legion Highland games in Squamish in the summer of 2010. Her trio with her brother and bandmate Hanna Grierson took second place.  Brook is very thankful that the Pipeband has given her such wonderful opportunities and is looking forward to the competitions in the summer of 2011.
